I had a business meeting with a webmaster and a LinkedIn group administrator whom I have came to know through LinkedIn. We had a fruitful discussion on ways to benefit from the online hubs managed and a partnership that can be financially and socially impactful.
I read a lot about statistics and big data in the digital world and always wonder why the research says businesses are failing to see the ROI of social media. Econsultancy recent B2B digital trends report says that only 25% can actually measure the return on their investments in social media.
Following on my last blog piece about whether or not we should change our Facebook profile to use the new Timeline interface or not (not that we had much of a choice) I have recently read about Google new interface on Google+ and even updated my own using some of the new features that seem to make it more interactive and theoretically more inviting, but is that what is wrong with the current Google+ ?
I guess it is about time … Facebook has been going about this since the F8 summit last year. I do understand that they needed to make sure the application is solid enough with the number of devices that Facebook aims to support, but from a user point of view, I must say, I don’t get it.
